Delete your Loay Motawie account

You can delete your account for the Loay Motawie app and website here, or from inside the app. Both do exactly the same thing.

What is deleted

Your profile: name, email address, phone number, parent's phone number, school, grade, photo and password.
Your class memberships.
Your homework and quiz submissions, the files you uploaded, and your marks and feedback.
Your video watch history and attendance.
Your notifications, and the devices registered to receive them.
Progress reports generated for you.
Messages and registration forms you sent through this website from the same email address or phone number.

You are signed out of every device at once.

What is kept

A record that a member of our staff acted on your account, for example resetting a password: the action and the date only, with no other details.
The cost of any automatic marking of your work, for our accounts, with the link to you removed.

Neither can be linked back to you once your account is gone.

When

Immediately. Deletion can't be undone; to use the app again you would create a new account.

Parent accounts

Deleting a parent account removes that account and its notifications. It does not delete your child's account. Because your number is on your child's record, signing in again with it creates a new parent account.

How to delete it

If you can't sign in here, for example a parent account that only uses a code sent by text message, send a request from the email address or phone number on the account to [email protected], or on WhatsApp to +201117772595. We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.
